Happy Birthday Jaden & Noah!

The boys attended their first "Tea Party" this past weekend. Dad wasn't super excited about the idea but it was for one of Kase's very special friends so he quickly got over it. Kase reassured him that he was only going b/c it was for a birthday party and that "tea parties are really just for girls". All of the kids were in Sunday dress so it was a very sweet little party and I got some good blackmail pictures of the boys sipping tea.

I figure those will come in very handy one day when they are really trying to pull off the "tough guy" image w/the girls. I'll remind them of a time when they weren't "too cool" for a tea party and I'll have pictures to prove it! They didn't care much for the tea but they gobbled down the cheetos, fruit and cake...that's my boys! After a quick nap, we headed to birthday party #2. It was a little more to their liking but I just about froze my tail off. Due to the large number of guests, it was held outdoors and if you remember, it was around 50 degrees that day...brrrr!

They had train rides, a bounce house, a swingset, bubble machine and a pinata so the kids had plenty to do to stay warm. I did finally find a nice comfy chair near the outdoor fireplace so I was able to thaw out in b/w activities. Tony was on ball and train ride duty but he did manage to find time to join me by the fireplace and talk about how nice it would be if we had one at our house. I think what he was really trying to say was that he wanted the 50 inch plasma that was hanging above the fireplace. Guess he doesn't think having a TV in the living room and bedroom is enough...now he needs one outside so he can watch TV while he mows the backyard. Men and their toys...what am I going to do w/a house full of them? Maybe I'll win the lottery so I can adopt a sweet little girl from China! Oh wait, guess you have to play to win...never mind, I'll pass! I'd rather buy Christmas ornaments for my tree...check out a few of my new favorites and the cutie pies that helped me hang them!
