Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is Papa's birthday...doesn't he look great for 65? I certainly think so! As you know w/kids, you can't have a birthday w/out a cake so the boys told me I needed to go to Walmart and get Papa a cake. The one I purchased wasn't quite up to par w/the boys b/c it didn't say anything on it. I tried explaining to them that neighborhood market doesn't do that but that didn't go over well either. So, I got my little tube of icing out and voila...we have writing. Aren't you glad I'm not a cake decorator?

Needless to say, bad decorating job and all, we had a great dinner and the kids enjoyed singing happy birthday to their Papa! They absolutely adore him and as you can tell, the feeling is mutual.

Happy Birthday Dad, I wish you the happiest of days not only today, but everyday for the rest of your life! I love you more than you'll ever know and what a blessing that I get to call you my dad. You are an amazing man and I'm so glad my boys get to spend such precious time w/you. Thank you for loving me unconditionally the past 33 years. I know it wasn't always easy but you sure made it look that way. And just between me and you, I'll always be a daddy's girl!
