Sure feels good to be home...

We left San Antonio this morning at 8:30 and after a short 3 hour stop at the outlet mall, we pulled into our driveway at 3:43. Sure feels good to be home. The suitcases are unpacked, I've already washed and put away 3 bags of laundry, which leaves only one more to go before the end of the night. I thought about letting it wait but the minute I opened the suitcase, I quickly changed my mind. There was no way I was going to let the dirty, stinky, chlorine smell sit on our clothes any longer. Not to mention, hotels always have an unusual odor to them and not particularly one I like to smell any longer than I have to. Speaking of hotel, it was the perfect place to stay until we lost hot water last night. It was short lived so we were still able to wash the salt water and chlorine off our bodies and out of our hair before going to bed. The hotel was extremely kid friendly and believe it or not, the bed linens were so clean that I actually slept on them. I did have my own back-up set in the car but I didn't even have to pull them out of the trunk. That, in and of itself, was a huge selling point. See, I told you, I'm getting better! I didn't even carry hand sanitizer w/me at Sea World. Gosh, I'm so proud of myself. Something else I'm proud of is the fact that I only took 217 pictures the entire trip. I would've had a few more but I didn't realize until after we were at the Riverwalk that my memory card was at home in the adapter. Great...vacation spoiler #1. Luckily, it turned out to be the only one. My sweet husband offered to buy me a disposable camera on the Riverwalk but I kindly told him those are stupid a thing of the past and take crappy fuzzy pictures.Thank goodness there was a Target on the way back to the hotel b/c I was not going to be a happy traveler w/out a camera. I owe you one San Antonio Target!

Due to the fact that every picture I took just so happens to be my favorite and deserves a spot on the blog, I decided to break the posts into tiny little parts. Day 1, day 2, and so on...you get the idea. So, without taking up anymore precious laundry time, I present to you the Lindeman family vacation 2009!

The kids are off to Tony's moms tomorrow so he and I are going to have another vacation...only this one involves a quiet home, sleeping in, taking long naps, dinner w/out distractions, a shopping trip w/out the kids and a fun day at Market w/mom and Morgan. Awwww...I feel relaxed just thinking about it!
