sat outside and read a few pages of Kase's new book.
He kept asking if it was time to go in...he was so excited to be there and couldn't wait for the doors to open. Ten minutes into the performance, I knew we were in for a treat. The entire show was absolutely amazing. Two of the lead parts were played by children who I'm guessing were maybe 10. This was their first national tour and they were INCREDIBLE and so much fun to watch. Kase thought it was so neat and told me, "I might get to do that one day if I keep going to Drama Kids"...how sweet is he? The costumes were beautiful, the singing was great and they even had the flying car. Surely you can imagine the questions that followed that scene. Of course, I was unable to answer those questions since I opted not to take theatre or stage production in high school. I'm not thinking that will be the case w/our oldest child...we shall see. Up next on the agenda is Mary Poppins and it's one I can't wait to see. Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down, medicine go down...
Night, night my little musical man!
