Mall with ducks and turtles

On Friday, the boys and I took a little morning trip to the "mall with ducks and turtles"; otherwise, known as Northpark.

We were supposed to go to Firewheel the night before w/Grammar but plans changed and they were highly disappointed. In an effort to cheer them up, I asked if they wanted me to take them the next day. They both declined that offer and asked if we could go to the mall w/the ducks and turtles. OK...twist my arm. Little did we know that there was going to be so much going on that day. The Lego store was having a giveaway so there were people EVERYWHERE, waiting in ridiculous lines, and pushing and shoving trying to get an inch closer to the door. Kase wanted to take a peak inside but thankfully, he didn't want to wait in the line either. I promised him we'd go back when it wasn't a giveaway day so I'm sure we'll be doing that this week or next...b/c he forgets nothing! We shopped a little, ate a nice lunch, tossed pennies in the fountain and played by the ducks and turtles.
